  • Kane is preparing to represent England at the World Cup

Harry Kane has said that he is "really excited" and "proud" to have signed a new long-term deal with Tottenham Hotspur.

Indeed, it's reported that his weekly wage will be somewhere near the £200,000 mark once all relevant bonuses are chucked in.

Harry Winks, Davinson Sanchez, Kyle Walker-Peters and Kane have committed their allegiance to Spurs, and the future has never looked so bright.

"I'm looking forward to the new stadium first and foremost and just to keep progressing as a Club".

He has scored 135 goals over the four seasons for Tottenham and further eight in 15 England caps.

Kane has previously been linked with moves to Manchester United and Real Madrid, but the latest agreement shows he sees his immediate future at Spurs.

Despite England's 2-0 victory over Costa Rica, former England worldwide Paul Mariner was not pleased with the team's uninspired performance.

And their form has persuaded the club to offer them improved terms in a bid to stave off the elite European sides who are watching the situation closely.

Kane is now sixth in Tottenham's all-time top scorers list, sitting just three behind fifth-placed Jermain Defoe.

In his last four Premier League seasons, he has scored 105 times.

Instead, Kane is set to continue on his path at Spurs, having previously aired his desire to break Alan Shearer's record of 260 Premier League goals.

He became the Club's leading scorer in the Premier League era, surpassing Teddy Sheringham's total of 97, while he has also joined the elite group of players to score 100 Premier League goals, doing so in just 141 games.

"Lads, it's England" - Although Tony Adams is confident the country he represented 66 times will have a World Cup to enjoy in Russian Federation, the Arsenal legend can't help but worry about one crucial detail; too many Tottenham Hotspur players.
