Apple's new emoji update includes options for bald people and redheads

World Emoji Day is the global celebration of emojis and this day is celebrated with different emoji events and product releases.

iOS 12 will be available later this year as a free update.

The tech giant Apple has announced that 70 new emoji characters will be coming to iPhones, iPads, Apple Watch and Macs later this year.

Check out the new characters below! In 2015, emoji historian Jeremy Burge created World Emoji Day, which is observed as an unofficial holiday on July 17, and to celebrate, Facebook has revealed some "emoji stats".

Emojis have become so much a part of our lives that they now even have a day dedicated to them.

Most of the early bunch will include trait modifiers for personas such as ginger hair, curly hair and baldness. Most Twitter users who post emojis are aged 24 and under and are women.
