Following Demi Lovato's apparent heroin overdose, the singer is reportedly set to be discharged from the hospital where she will be headed straight to rehab to begin her recovery.

TMZ shared the clip above, which saw Demi's friend ask for the ambulance to keep their sirens turned off as they approached the apartment, includes the emotional moment paramedics first reached the scene.

"No no no, this is a medical emergency".

"You're with the patient now?" the dispatcher asks before the assistant calmly responds, "I was, I'm downstairs".

Audio from the 911 call shows Lovato's friends wanted paramedics to arrive quietly at her home. She is stable, conscious and breathing, the official said. "This is definitely a medical emergency and we need to get there as fast as possible".

Lovato's rep released a statement Tuesday evening regarding the singer's condition.

A male then spoke with the operator and says "We heard the sirens".

The "Sorry Not Sorry" singer had been sober for six years at the start of this year, but revealed last month through a song entitled "Sober" that she had broken that sobriety.

"She was dating someone who her family didn't approve of and they wanted her to stay far away from him, but she believes she can make her own decisions about who she hangs out with and who she dates", the source noted. She was administered Narcan, a well-known antidote for opioid overdose, and that might've been what saved her life. TMZ reported that the pop star partied all night on Monday on the Sunset Strip as she celebrates one of her backup dancers birthdays. "Demi is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support", representatives told InStyle.

Lovato was hospitalized on Tuesday for a drug overdose, sources told ET.
