I want you to know from the bottom of my heart I was showing my affection.

On Saturday morning, the CBB Twitter account announced that Pallett had made a decision to leave the Big Brother house.

Roxanne said she would leave the house on last night's live CBB show when she was told she must choose between nominated housemates Ben Jardine and Jermaine Pennant.

The Press Association reports that a spokesman for Channel 5 said the other housemates had been informed of Pallett's decision.

The media regulator Ofcom received more than 11,000 complaints from viewers after Thursday's episode of the Channel 5 show, in which the ex-Emmerdale actor Pallett tearfully told Big Brother she was hurt by the incident and wanted to sleep in a separate bedroom. Big Brother gave the former Coronation Street star a warning over the incident.

But Thomas said there was no "malice" in what happened, with some viewers arguing it was merely play-fighting. Maybe it came across wrong and I really do apologise if it came across that way.

She said: "I think if there would have been violence in here, they would have come in, the person would have been removed immediately". "I promise you've got it wrong".

An emotional Roxanne replied: "I'm not questioning your integrity".

He went on to say: "Just had a colleague who witnessed my encounter where I was falsely accused of violence, contact me and share the event".

After Ben Jardine - who took Pallett's side in the incident - was evicted from the house, he then admitted he felt duped by Pallett after seeing footage of the incident itself.

'I trusted Roxy and trusted what she said.

She also said she was "in pain all night".

It was confirmed that the former Emmerdale actress had quit Celebrity Big Brother.
