Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri, has revealed why his side were able to defeat defensive-minded Bournemouth on Saturday.

With Sarri's style of play, Moses has managed just eleven minutes of football this season in the English Premier League, but the new man in charge says the star can still regain the flair he had in the previous seasons under Conte.

Chelsea continued their 100 per cent record in the Premier League under Maurizio Sarri with a 2-0 win over Bournemouth on Saturday.

In the post-match press conference, Sarri, who has enjoyed four wins from his first four Premier League matches with Chelsea, said: "Alonso, at the moment, in this position at left-back is maybe the best in Europe".

Sarri had warned before the opening game of the league campaign that his side would face a hard start as he attempted to implement a very different approach to that employed by Conte. "The gap at the beginning [to Manchester City] was 30 points [from last season]".

'Physical qualities at a top level, I think.

He also acknowledged that Eddie Howe set his Bournemouth side to defend and counterattack: "They are very organised defensively, and defended very well".

The best and worst of David Luiz was on show in the first half. Usually this kind of match you can win in the last 20 minutes and we did.

But Howe believes Chelsea are a very different proposition this season.

"I think that now for us it is better to think about the next match".

"In the first half it was very hard to play - we needed to move the ball at a higher speed - but it wasn't easy".

"It depends upon the situation on the pitch", Sarri said of the selection issues he faces with two strikers short on goals.

Chelsea returned for the restart with the intention of applying constant pressure to the Bournemouth defence but while that materialised, Sarri's players were still left frustrated by the visitors.

The Chelsea coach reacted by introducing Pedro and Olivier Giroud in place of Willian and Alvaro Morata and the home side started playing with more objective.
