  • Get Ready To Chuck A Sickie ‘Stranger Things’ Season 3 Has A Release Date

You'll find out when Stranger Things returns for its third season on Thursday, July 4. They want to deliver something bigger and better than past year. It seemed likely that the release date would come soon after.

A few weeks ago, the episode titles for the new season were revealed. The date was confirmed January 1 with an Independence Day-themed poster showing Eleven (played by Millie Bobby Brown) holding hands with Mike (Finn Wolfhard) as other characters admire fireworks bursting in the distance.

The tagline reads, "One summer can change everything", which sounds like a totally cliche '80s movie line-something that is very appropriate for the series. Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Max (Sadie Sink) are at the scene too.

We also know Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride), Maya Hawke (daughter of Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman) and Jake Busey will join the cast and Hawkins' shopping centre will play a pivotal role in the story. Netflix delivered a gift to United States viewers at the stroke of midnight, East Coast time, just as 2018 slipped into 2019, revealing the season 3 premiere date for the hit streaming show.

That's because Netflix has announced that's the day it will release the eagerly awaited new season of its hit, "Stranger Things".

Also notice that the New Year's Eve celebration in the promo video is "brought to you locally by Starcourt Mall". The words "When blue and yellow meet in the West" flash across the screen around the 0:14 mark.
