  • Singer Mariah Carey sues personal assistant over “Embarrassing Video”

The star's lawsuit says sometime after Azarian was hired as an executive assistant in March 2015, she started recording "personal activities" of Carey that would be "embarrassing" and cause severe damage to her personal and professional reputation if it were to get out.

Shakhnazaryan claims that after she reported Bulochnikov's behaviour to Carey while at a CT resort in November 2017, she was subsequently fired.

Azarian claims Carey's ex-manager Stella Bulochnikov, with whom Carey recently settled a sexual harassment suit, abused her including slapping her butt, breasts and urinated on her, according to TMZ.

Shakhnazaryan claims in the suit that she was "required to meet constant demands of great magnitude and often on incredibly short time demands", and that she also served as a personal assistant to Bulochnikov and coordinator between the manager and the singer.

Mariah also alleged her former staff member used her credit card to buy personal items and obtained discounts from retailers by claiming she was buying things for Mariah.

Regarding her accusations of battery, the former assistant claims that she was "subjected to aggressive, abusive and harmful physical conduct by Carey..."

Other undisclosed offenders were named by Azarian in her documentation.

There is no indication if Azarian is seeking any damages, and if she is, what those damages may be.

'After working together for nearly three years, Mariah Carey and Stella Bulochnikov have determined that it is in their mutual best interest to part ways on day-to-day management, ' the statement maintained.

The original report, also from TMZ, claimed Azarian secretly recorded her doing embarrassing things, sometimes of an "intimate" nature.

The artists' rep told USA Today: "This new year welcomes Mariah's continued efforts to clean the trash from her life". She "demanded millions of dollars and refused to return the evidence".

Stella agreed to "discontinue this action against Mariah Carey with prejudice, with each party to bear its own attorneys' fees and costs".
