The star is listed among the top selling artists for hits such as "I Believe I Can Fly" and "Ignition", but he now says he's running low on funds.

Kelly told CBS he has been in financial difficulties because "so many people" who had access to his bank account have stolen from him.

"I was so exhausted of not knowing where my money was, where my publishing is", Kelly said.

He has denied similar abuse allegations for decades. In a new interview with O The Oprah Magazine, she explained exactly how she managed to keep up her steely demeanor. "The incident allegedly occurred in the City of Detroit when the victim was 13 years old".

Kelly was detained just over a week after he pleaded not guilty to 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse.

An attorney for Kelly, whose real name is Robert Kelly, did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.

She claims there were several encounters with R. Kelly at his Atlanta home and that the singer gave her herpes when she was 17 years old.

Claiming that "you guys don't know the truth", a distressed Azriel Clary told Gayle King "You guys believe in some f***king façade that our parents are saying". While he denied the claims, he also blamed the parents of his alleged victims for "selling" their daughters to him.

"They feel that Robert has been maligned, that their own parents are lying.that interview is very eye-opening", King said. But my dad and my mom. they started to send threats to both me and him.

But Clary said she never wanted to be a singer, and her parents forced her to pursue it, which made her so distraught she wanted to kill herself at one point. "And as a woman, I'm sure you would not either", she spat. Clary went on to say that "if you can't see that" their parents are making up "fucking lies for money", then "you're ignorant and you're stupid as fuck". "Both our parents are out here trying to get money and scam because they didn't agree on what happened with music or whatever it may be and they're just very upset", Savage said. Their parents say they are brainwashed.

In a portion of the interview that aired Wednesday, Kelly alleged the young women's parents arranged for him to meet their daughters, sought money from him and threatened to ruin his career.
