  • Former Patriots LT Trent Brown Reportedly Signing 4-Year Deal With Raiders

When it comes to the Pittsburgh Steelers' feelings towards the New England Patriots, it appears as though the hatred is still very strong.

The Oakland Raiders are on the board! Brown intends to sign a four-year deal worth up to $66 million with $36.75 million in guarantees. The trade will not become official until the new league year begins on Wednesday, March 13. Along with the New York Jets, the Raiders are a candidate to sign Le'Veon Bell.

"Referencing the 6'8" Brown as "big bro", Wynn (who is 6'2") expressed his satisfaction seeing a fellow lineman get paid. Brown started all 19 games for the Patriots, and didn't miss a snap throughout their playoff run, which culminated with a victory over the L.A. Rams in Super Bowl LIII. He'll have a ton of suitors, but Oakland will be ready and is willing to spend for star power even after acquiring Antonio Brown.

According to Pro Football Focus, the Raiders tackles allowed 30 sacks in pass protection last season for the most in the NFL, while Brown gave up just three in 580 pass blocking snaps.

Despite earlier reports to the contrary, the Jets sound unified in their approach to free agency, and more specifically, Bell.

The 6-foot-8 behemoth was a force on the New England offensive line last season, replacing Nate Solder as the man tasked with protecting Tom Brady's blind side.
